AQUARION GROUP (AQUARION AG) SHOWCASES MINE WATER TREATMENT TECHNOLOGY AT INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON MINE CLOSURE
BAAR, Switzerland, May 29, 2015 – Aquarion Group (Aquarion AG), a leading provider of advanced water systems, solutions and technologies for the oil & gas industry, the energy sector and other process industries, has been selected to make a poster presentation at the 10th International Conference on Mine Closure, held June 1-3 in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Aquarion’s presentation focuses on its innovative mine water treatment technology. It includes an overview of trends and a deeper exploration of its three-step fully automatic process that involves separation of iron through pH adjustment and air flotation technology, separation of sulphates via nanofiltration with Circular Disc Modules, and separation of heavy metal using reverse osmosis.
The Circular Disc Modules used in this process were developed by Membran-Filtrations-Technik GmbH (MFT), a leading developer of membrane technology and an Aquarion Group company.
